THE IMPORTANCE OF HIGH-QUALITY
PRINTING
We know just how important high-quality printing is in packaging and display stand products. This is why at Cartondis we offer offset printing in order to achieve a consistently high-quality image that is clearer and more defined than with other printing systems.
OFFSET PRINTING
AND ITS PROCESS
The method of offset printing is one of the indirect printing systems, since the substrate (generally paper) does not come into contact with the matrix, which is usually an aluminium sheet, in order to transfer the image. The ink passes from the aluminium sheet to the rubber-covered blanket cylinder in order to then pass onto the paper, exerting pressure between the blanket cylinder and the impression cylinder, also known as the counterpressure cylinder.
The sheets, either plates or matrices, are quick and easy to produce and last longer than in direct lithography printing systems, since there is no direct contact between the template and the contact surface.
“In large print runs, the price of each
print is lower than that of any other system. This is why many of our customers choose this option for their main production lines.”
ADVANTAGES OF THE OFFSET
